"A bridge is not what carries the weight — it is what refuses to let anyone fall."

"We do not measure recovery in months. We measure it in the morning a brother chooses to get up."

"Behind every uniform is a family. Behind every family is a story we are honoured to walk."

— The founding principle of Brothers Bridge

Built with care

Founded by three Israelis who saw the gap between recognition and recovery — and chose to close it.

Registered & transparent

Israeli registered non-profit (Amuta) #580818086. Audited under Israel's Registrar of Associations from day one.

Built for those who served

Welfare and recovery support for IDF soldiers, Israel Police officers, and the families who carry them home.

Our Mission

A bridge between the moment of injury and the rest of a life.

Brothers Bridge — גשר אחים — was founded in Israel as a non-profit dedicated to one purpose: that no soldier or police officer who gave for this country should have to find their way back alone.

We support Israeli soldiers and police officers — and their parents, partners, and children — through the long stages of recovery from injury, combat trauma, and the unseen wounds of service. Our work begins in the welfare gaps the state cannot fully fill, and continues for as long as a brother needs us.

We are a young organisation. Our greatest asset today is honesty: about who we are, what we are building, and what your support will make possible. Every founding donor becomes part of a foundation we will, together, never stop pouring.

By the founders, who chose to stand behind the cause.

Brothers Bridge was founded by three Israelis who asked to remain unnamed. Their reasoning was simple: the brothers we serve will be the names you remember. The bridge does not need to be famous — it needs only to hold.

— Founding pledge, signed in Elad, 2025

Brotherhood, not charity

Those we walk beside are not recipients — they are brothers. The relationship runs both ways, and so does the strength.

For those who served

Our focus is sharp: IDF soldiers, Israel Police officers, and their immediate families. The clearer the focus, the deeper the care.

Whole-family healing

When one person carries trauma, the household carries it together. We work with the family, not only the individual.

Honest from day one

We will publish our financials in full from our first annual report, and we will never claim numbers we have not earned.

What we do

Five areas of care. One commitment.

From the hospital ward to the long quiet of recovery, Brothers Bridge accompanies soldiers, police officers, and their families through every stage.

Physical Rehabilitation

Specialist prosthetics, mobility aids, hydrotherapy, and adaptive sport — restoring physical confidence after injury in the line of duty.

Combat Trauma & PTSD

Trauma-focused therapy, peer-led group programmes, and crisis support for those carrying the wounds no one can see.

Family & Bereavement

Support for parents, partners, and children — counselling, family programmes, and educational scholarships for the next generation.

Adaptive Equipment

Wheelchairs, hearing devices, vehicle conversions, home modifications, and assistive technology grants where the state's coverage ends.

Welfare Bridges

Direct welfare assistance — covering urgent gaps in housing, daily living, and reintegration that fall between official frameworks.

Voices we will carry

Behind every name is a story we are honoured to hold.

A note on these stories: As a newly registered organisation, we have not yet earned the right to name those we will serve. The composite scenarios below illustrate the kinds of journeys Brothers Bridge is built to walk. Real names and faces will appear here only with the full consent of the brothers and families they belong to.

The road back to ordinary

A combat reservist returns from operations with injuries that change the shape of his days. The headlines pass; the stairs at home don't. Brothers Bridge is built for what happens after the news cycle ends.

"What I needed wasn't a parade. It was someone who would still be here in six months."

The wounds inside the uniform

An Israeli police officer carries home what she could not leave at the scene. Her partner and children become the unseen second responders. Brothers Bridge will exist so that a whole family is supported — not just the badge.

"The hardest part wasn't the call I answered. It was coming home and trying to be ordinary."

Eight years, one phone call

Many who carry combat trauma carry it in silence — sometimes for years. We are building Brothers Bridge so that the call, when it comes, is answered not by a system but by a brother.

"The bridge was never the problem. The not-walking was."
